Don’t risk DIY if you have a wasp nest warns Cleankill Pest Control

Cleankill is warning people not to tackle wasp nests this year as the dry weather has resulted in extra-large nests and more wasps surviving than usual.

Cleankill received a record number of call-outs for wasp problems in London and the South-east during July, and August is set to be busy as well. Last year, because of the wet weather, there were fewer calls than usual.

Weevils!

Recently, one of our technicians, Martin Colyer, came across an unusual problem at a flat in Cricklewood. He had been called to the flat to deal with an infestation of carpet beetles but when he arrived, he found something very different – weevils.

Cleankill technician praised after finding home for pigeon chicks

A customer has praised a Cleankill technician for the way he handled a sensitive situation involving two pigeon chicks.

Cleankill was contacted by the Health & Safety Manager of a London factory about the pigeon chicks which were 10 to15 days old, They had been discovered in a box in racking outside the premises.

The customer was delighted when the technician managed to safely and quickly remove the chicks and find them a home after calls to a number of organisations.
